Lowry's Western Shop Burns Down
People from all over the eastern U.S. shopped for western gear at Lowry's.
Gail Lowry Cecchetti watched in disbelief early Saturday as firefighters worked to douse flames that heavily damaged the business that began in the basement of her parents' home in 1979.
The fire gutted Lowry's Western Shop, 935 Henderson Ave., Canton Township, and left other businesses in the shopping plaza with smoke and water damage.
But hours after firefighters cleared the scene, Cecchetti along with numerous friends and family started to secure the building and contemplate plans to rebuild the business.
