Hay Twine
You might use
hay twine to train your horse, but click through for pics of a lot of other things you can make with hay twine.
I have been talking with a few people about some of the things I do with hay twine. A few of them put links to my site (which is very cool to me.) So, I thought I better put a few pictures of some of the things on here. I don't have pictures of everything on here but I will update it again.

Snowy Express
A modern day Pony Express riding horses in Montana.
Or our version of promoting eco friendliness in Big Sky Country Montana... riding the horses down to the mailbox rather than gas guzzling it. The snows finally subsided and I figured I wanted to ride out and why not combine fun with function and get the mail... Round trip it's just over three miles, but add in some "hill equalizers" if Picken needed and who knows.
