Del Mar Councilwoman Likes Horses
The Deputy Mayor of Del Mar appears to be a big horse fan ... or is she now controlled by the evil horse syndicate?
Deputy Mayor Crystal Crawford accepted the most gifts among the five City Council members last year, according to financial disclosure statements filed with the city clerk.
Crawford declared gifts totaling $1,375, including four tickets to the U.S. Olympic Equestrian Trials at the Del Mar Fairgrounds worth $300 from a horse show producer in San Juan Capistrano, and two tickets worth $138 to the Cavalia Horse Show at the fairgrounds from the show's organizers.
